WASHINGTON: Pakistani Ambassador to United States Sherry Rehman met Tina Foster, the lawyer of Dr Aafia Siddiqui. During the meeting, Tina Foster discussed case of Dr Aafia with Sherry Rehman. Both the dignitaries also discussed about ease in sentence for Aafia and her return to Pakistan. Sherry Rehman assured Foster that Pakistani embassy would protect the rights of Dr Aafia among all its citizens. She said that the embassy would also step up efforts for telephonic contact of Dr Aafia with her family. Pakistani ambassador said that she would herself meet Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
